Job Description
Maintenance & Systems Technician is responsible for performing skilled maintenance, repair and installation tasks on various equipment, machinery, and facilities within a designated area. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. The Maintenance Technician works under minimal supervision, often collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of all systems and equipment.
Responsibilities:

Perform data analysis to identify abnormal trends and support troubleshooting and improvements.

Assist engineers in analyzing equipment issues and proposing technical solutions.

Support and implement departmental improvement projects, including tracking and executing action plans.

Use MES, WMS, ERP, and other systems to record equipment status, downtime, and maintenance activities.

Perform basic equipment repair and routine maintenance to ensure stable operation.

Organize and maintain equipment technical documents, maintenance records, and standard operating procedures.

Collaborate with other departments to improve equipment performance and production efficiency.

Participate in equipment audits, calibration tasks, and continuous improvement activities.

Comply with safety, quality, and operational standards to ensure compliant work practices.
Qualifications:

Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, IT, Electronics, or a related technical field.

1–2 years of experience in equipment maintenance or support in a manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with basic equipment troubleshooting and repair.

Strong data analysis skills using tools such as Excel and MES.

Experience managing documentation and electronic records using IT systems.

Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work well in a team with good communication skills.

Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or automation systems is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, or automation systems.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production equipment.

Basic understanding of IT systems and data flow in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MES reporting tools, and other data platforms.

Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures and safety guidelines.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.

Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and work in various environmental conditions.
Working conditions:
- Able to work extended hours as needed
- Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, and extreme noise
- Must wear protective equipment while at the location
- May be required to work after hours and on weekends or holidays
Physical requirements:
- Requires prolonged standing, walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
- Heavy Work-Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around equipment
- Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls
